At Synapse Product Development, we are always looking for ways to speed up the RF design and test cycle. We looked at a number of options that varied in size, capability, and price and EMSCAN’s RFxpert RFX2 was our system of choice. Its footprint and cost were major factors in our decision and it provided us with full 3D antenna patterns and the smallest footprint of the all the systems we examined. We have been very satisfied with both the speed and accuracy of the system. The results of a consumer electronics wearable device measured both on our RFX2 and from a full anechoic chamber were well within expected measurement tolerances. The speed at which we can now perform a full 3D measurement has dramatically shortened our test time thereby significantly reducing design time from early concepts to finalized product.

The addition of the RFX2 system to our RF design and test capabilities has enabled us to deliver better antenna and RF designs to our clients, and ultimately to our clients’ users.
