Calgary, Canada – October 06, 2011: With the release of the Circular Polarization (CP) option, the RFxpert is now able to calculate the right and left hand circularly polarized patterns. The CP application will also calculate and display axial ratio patterns. Having access to both the left hand and right hand patterns can be used to identify the orientation of the circular polarization as well. This feature will allow designers of circularly polarized antenna to characterize the effectiveness of their design in seconds.
For existing customers of RFxpert no change to their hardware is required. A software update to 3.2, including a custom configuration file for their system is all that is required to support the separately purchased CP option and start CP measurements.
RFxpert Release 3.2 not only presents more intuitive GUI but also even more accurate TRP and EIRP measurements. Users will have access to the linear theta and phi patterns.
