NexusPlus is a unique magnetic near field scanning system that helps designers be highly productive in understanding and diagnosing these problems, quickly and early in the development cycle.

The NexusPlus System primarily provides designers with a very rapid and highly repeatable measurement approach to identify problem frequencies, problem sources (and their physical location) contributing to EMI and RF leakage issues in PCB/PCP designs or within integrated configured systems.

The system is comprised of three EMSCAN components (a Controller Module, a magnetic near field scanner, and client software) that integrate with a wide range of (user supplied) Spectrum Analyzer and a user supplied client computer.

These integrated elements support a high speed scanning process that identifies (frequency, location, source, and relative intensity) and characterizes unintended radiators or RF leakages - all controlled from NexusPlus client software that organizes and defines the scan parameters, then processes and interprets results and then renders the measurement outcomes.

The controller drives the selection of measurement cells on the scanner; manages the Spectrum Analyzer sweeps remotely over a GPIB bus; digitizes or translates gathered Spectrum Analyzer “data”, and passes it through to the client software.

The system operates with high repeatability and good sensitivity over the region 50 kHz to 4GHz. NexusPlus has advanced capabilities with different application tools.
